Women’s double
Jung Kyung Eun/Shin Seung Chan, Korea – Tian Qing/Zhao Yunlei, China

Chinese world champions Qing/Yunlei have won the only previous battle between these two pairs – that was in Hong Kong last year. Ranked 77 in the world, Jung/Shin are underdogs in today’s final.

Jung/Shin, who started Denmark Open in the qualification on Tuesday, won all their matches this week in two sets. Highest score against them is 18 and 19 in the quarterfinal against Chang Ye Na/Lee So Hee,, also Korea. Last time Jung/Shin were in a final was at the Malaysian Open in April where they lost to two other Chinese, Luo Ying/Luo Yu.

Qing/Yunlei barely need the biggest presentation. The current world champions beat Danes Christinna Pedersen/Kamilla Rytter Juhl in Jakarta in August, and they repeated this in the quarterfinal Friday. All their matches this week have also been settled in two sets. The closest match was against the Danes. Last title was at the World Championships in Jakarta.
